I waited till the last minute to do my emissions inspection because I knew I wouldn't pass. Heres what happened. I worked till 3:00 in the morning putting the cats back on due to a late start (around 11pm) and also having to clean up some old stock cats and H pipes which I had sitting around here for the past few years. And then, the day I have to go, I have to drive there in the rain. So anyway, I pull up and there were four cars in front of me. I finally get to the "next to go in" spot and a guy comes out and slowly walks down my lane looking closely at my car (formerly Wags car). He walks back to my window and tells me (pointing at a parking lot), "Park over there and go around the side to the front office". Right there I say to myself, "damn, I didn't even make it in the door!". So I pull around and go into the office and a little lady behind the counter says to me, "are you the one with the car thats to low?". I say, "the black one?". And she says,"yep, thats you". And she proceeds to fill out a piece of paper and turns it around to show me and says, "you got till August 22, 2007 until you need to return". Scratching my head I asked, "so what does this mean. She said, "Oh nothing, it just means that you are exempt from the emissions inspection because your car is to low to go in over the rollers". I ask her (because she wasn't asking for a payment), "do I pay?". She said, "nope! Just say thank you very much and have a nice day". I said, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" and I had a GREAT day!
